DJ Interviews

NERD RAGE‘s music, hand-in-hand with his stage presence, is loud, aggressive, and right in your face. Never taking himself too seriously, Nerd Rage continues to deliver good vibes whether he’s behind the decks or in front of his computer. The phenom has developed some serious production skills as well as respect throughout the Bass Music community since exploding onto the scene last year, and demonstrates his progress every step of the way.

Describe your stage presence when you rock a show

I like to bring the full element of metal into the vibe while I’m on stage. Very loud, aggressive, mosh pits, and stage diving. Nonstop jumping and screaming. I want to make sure everyone is able to have the best and most memorable time possible when it comes to the energy and music.

Which other bass music producer do you see as an inspirator to your own music?

Well I don’t really get inspired to sound like anyone but myself, but there are those that I do look up to and respect. Such as(in no particular order), Dirtyphonics, Kill The Noise, Feed Me, Bro Safari, Skism, Evol Intent, Dieselboy, Skrillex, Schoolboy, MUST DIE! and Computer Club.

The weirdest thing you ever seen happening on the dancefloor?

Well that’s a tough one, it’s always a nonstop flow of weird. Anything from people fucking on stage, the furry headgear shit that kids wear, to someone pissing in a circle like a sprinkler,

Then there was this guy Triple Dick Rick, man… that was weird. He has three dicks… IMAGINE.

The hottest 5 tracks you are currently playing out?

Not to toot my own horn or whatever, but my new songs have really been smashing it. Besides those my favorites are Schoolboy – Lunch Money, DIRTYPHONICS – Walk In The Fire, MUST DIE! – Hyper Galaxy, Bro Safari – The Drop, a VIP I did of Jakes – Somebody say, and Mark Instinct and I’s remix of SPKTRM – Planet Human!

DJ AgencyWhat disappoints you?

Women in the workforce and this question.

Which artist would you love to remix?

Oh man… The Prodigy, Noisia, or Spor.

Anything else you would like to mention?

I really enjoy Bob Ross. Thank you. Pizza.
