New York, NY– Agent Orange releases his first EP on Chicago based Moody Recordings with 2 bass thumping originals. Pounding 303 is a peak time big room track that will have the dance-floor bouncing from side to side. Funky Rhythm is a nifty tune infused with old school hip-hop elements that keeps this EP hip and trendy.
Blending all of his NY influences with the melodies of today’s age of information is how Agent Orange hones his sound. Agent Orange uses unorthodox, captivating, oscillating dance-floor percussion fused with melodic elements to paint a deep and luscious atmosphere that balances brisk inflections that detonate dance floors all over the world!
Ara aka Agent Orange spent many years touring, producing music, and releasing on internationally acclaimed record labels such as 1605, Deeperfect, Terminal M, Nervous Records, BUSH, Circle Music, Teggno, etc. He has remixed for Carl Cox and has collaborated and received massive support from artists such as: Monika Kruse, Umek, Stefano Noferini, Christian Smith, and countless others. He moved to Europe in order to further pursue his career in music and opened a studio in Barcelona, Spain and spent 3 years traveling all throughout Europe. Eventually returning back to his hometown of New York, Ara continuously adds to and distinctly defines his sound spending numerous hours in his NYC studio.
Hailing from Chicago, Moody is known by DJs as the go-to label for the purest of house sounds. After taking a few years off, the Moody team is reuniting and ready to resume releasing only the highest quality house music. Moody is being managed by former Toolroom Records maestro Owen Ingram. Mark Knight says of the re-launch “The pedigree of Moody is unquestionable, in fact it is a corner stone in dance music history. The power house returns backed by some of the industries biggest players, so lookout for some amazing new music!”
